Longevity Chiropractic - Pueblo, Colorado Chiropractor
About Longevity Chiropractic

At Longevity Chiropractic, we take great pride in providing the finest chiropractic care to each and every patient.

The Sticklers are Pueblo Chiropractors who service Pueblo and the surrounding communities in Colorado.

Dr. Derek and Dr. Krysta Stickler both attended Parker University in Dallas, Texas where they received their Chiropractic degrees.  Dr. Derek and Dr. Krysta attended classes together through their doctoral training where they met, found a lasting partnership and decided to pursue their dreams together as a couple.  Dr. Derek and Dr. Krysta use chiropractic to care for your entire family, whether it’s dad’s aching back from work, mom’s stress from work, Johnny’s injured knee from football or the baby’s colicky cry that keeps the whole family up at night.  We take a “whole person” approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms.  Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and we will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient’s individual needs. Under the supervision and care of our caring and skilled chiropractors, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Dr. Derek Stickler

Dr. Derek Stickler

Position: Doctorate of Chiropractic

Dr. Derek was born in Neu Ulm, Germany while is Dad was stationed there in the Army. After several moves, he ended up in Lampasas, TX where he grew up.

Through high school, Dr. Derek was a three sport (football, baseball, track) stand out athlete which is where his love for Chiropractic began. After being injured playing football he was at a loss after going the medical route (pain killers, muscle relaxers, MRI) and still not knowing what was wrong with him. It wasn’t long after finding Chiropractic and getting adjusted that he was able to get back on the field and play at 100%. From that moment he knew that’s what he wanted to do with his life. He now has a great passion for helping athletes at all levels. He volunteers many hours a year with the CSU-P Football team, the Steel City Rage Semi-Pro football team, and with many CrossFit gyms in Pueblo to make sure their athletes stay healthy.

In his spare time, he loves being outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, playing softball and spending time with his family.

Dr. Krysta Stickler

Dr. Krysta Stickler

Position: Doctorate of Chiropractic

Dr. Krysta Stickler is a Pueblo native.  She has always had an interest in caring for infants and children, originally wanting to become a nurse.

After a simple career test in high school, her career path changed when Chiropractic was listed as her top four recommendations.  From there she began shadowing local chiropractors and fell in love with the profession.  She had no idea how it would change her entire life, however, in a deeper way.

It wasn’t until she was already studying chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, TX that she learned how taking away emotional, physical, and chemical stressors from the body allows the body to heal itself, without intervention or medications.  Her own ailments she had dealt with her whole life…allergies, knee and hip pain, stomach problems…were resolving with proper nutrition, stress management, exercising, and above all, regular chiropractic adjustments.  This led her to her to become very passionate about healing the body in a more natural way.

Dr. Krysta then took additional training in pediatrics and maternity to follow her dream of helping families achieve a greater level of health.  Especially after experiencing chiropractic while pregnant with her first child, she combines chiropractic adjustments specific to maternity and infant needs, along with nutrition and exercise, to make the experience of being pregnant and caring for a newborn much more enjoyable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! We are trained in many different techniques to help you reach your goals with chiropractic care. If you are ever uncomfortable with something we are more than happy to adjust a different way to make things more comfortable for you.

There is an infinite list of conditions that Chiropractic care can help with. If there is ever a question as to whether Chiropractic can help with a certain condition please give us a call for a FREE phone consultation with one of the Doctors. If we feel we can help you we will be more than happy to get you scheduled to come see us. If we feel like we can’t help, we will do our best to get you pointed in a direction of somebody that can.

Dr. Krysta is specially trained in Pediatric Chiropractic and has adjusted infants just minutes old. It is often necessary to get an infant adjusted right away especially if there was any intervention with delivery i.e. use of forceps, vacuum, or C-section. Even a normal birth can be slightly traumatic with the baby twisting through the birth canal.
On the other end of life we have worked on people well into their nineties and had great results with more gentle techniques.

If you have current x-rays when you schedule with us we would love to see them before you are treated. If not, we do a thorough exam to determine if they are necessary. If after the exam we feel x-rays are necessary, then we will write you a prescription and send you out for them. In most cases we use Park West Imaging. They accept most insurances so there’s usually no out of pocket expense. We also have special cash pricing with them in the case insurance is not available.
